Family Reunion + My Grandparent’s 90th Birthday (2016)

It’s been over 3 years since our 2016 Family Reunion (father’s side) happened. This specific blog is for my family. I want this to serve as a reminder of the celebration of our beloved Lola Romy & Lola Pura’s 90th birthday and also the 2016 “Llaguno” Family Reunion in Malilipot, Albay.

Video clips were from February 7-8, 2016. WOW! I just finished editing the videos I took that day now. It took me over 3 years, sorry was busy, LOL! I traveled with my mom via bus on the night of February 6, 2019 and we arrived early in the morning in Tabaco City the following day (February 7, 2019). It was a 12-hr ride whew! Uncle Robert and Auntie Mhaybz picked us up and then we went to Lolo and Lola’s old house in the city center where Auntie Jo and Uncle Adel resides. It is near Tabaco Church (St. John the Baptist Church of Tabaco City). Then we went to Auntie Mhaybz and Auntie Josie’s house (the one in the video with a backyard). My cousins and I met there, reconnected and spent some time catching up. My mom and I spent the night there as well.

We celebrated our grandparents’ 90th birthday on February 8, 2019 in Dos Montes Spring Resort, Poblacion, Malilipot, Albay.

Bonus: My Mom and I danced to “Pearly Shells” as a production number :D We did not have proper rehearsals whatsoever but my mom came prepared with straw skirt costumes haha! Here’s a short video clip of it.
