My Amateur shots in Cuenca, Batangas

Sometime in February last year, I stayed at a house of a former flame. He let me borrow his Nikon D5000 SLR camera and told me to try it out. At first, I was hesitant to do it because I thought I was a newbie who only had training with my trusty Sony digicam haha! Well, anyway…

I thought of giving this pair of boots a “Vintage” feel by using the black and white filter. They were his (or his brother’s) I’m not sure…

It must’ve been boring day that morning, even hyper Keisha (LabKal) yawned when I took pictures of her (either that or my photoshoot sesh was boring for her) LOL!

“A new day, a new beginning”

I took this photo under an Aratilis tree. This tree is a good source of shade from the hot piercing sun. I decided to take a photo of the sunlight that was peeking between the holes of the leaves and branches because it reminded me of “Hope” or “Salvation”. I thought that God still sees me and is checking on me even when I’m hiding.
